Today on Guam there are still Japanese, but they are not here to fight. Japanese tourist come here to shop, have fun, and get away from the cold. There are two American military bases on Guam. Anderson Air Force Base and Navel Base Guam. People on Guam still remember World War 2 and what the Japanese did. Some Chamorro people still don't forgive the Japanese for what they did. The Japanese people spend a lot of money here. The Chamorros like this because there shops and businesses get money from the tourists.
